I am well aware of the DMCA issues that have arisen recently. Make no misunderstanding, we are going to resolve this where the original artists rights are protected.
If you would like to make a copyright infringement claim, please email me directly at harry@maugans.com. I am currently sorting through a large number of emails, but I will try to get to everyone in the next 24-48 hours.
That said, spamming our forum and harassing our members is absolutely forbidden. We have zero tolerance for spammers and disrespectful behavior. Continuing will result in measures being taken against you. We are willing to work with you on your copyright issues, but attacking our community will not be tolerated.
That was an unacceptable behavior. I also enjoy the art of DeviantArt artists, but any copyright issues must never be solved by spamming other site's forum. It was low and disappointing to see a member of DeviantArt doing so. I hope you will work the issue out as soon as possible.
Very well said, this has to stop. Being as I am both a member of DA and DN, I am being ripped in both directions. My arms are about to come off! What happened as far as the manipulation and theft of other's artwork was wrong, but the attacks were also unnecessary. I was even accused of stealing MY OWN WORK. We must get this resolved as soon as possible.
I am also a member of both communities and feel that some people have gone totally overboard about the whole thing. I have stayed out of it since noone said anything about my stuff its not good enough to steal.....sad day for an artist indeed they should be proud that thier work is considered so good.
