I had one of the person that help with things. Delete a wallpaper I uploaded that was wrong size. Since then I have not been able to see wallpaper. I click on nature I have just a blank page. I click on a member wallpaper and it will not pop up the wallpaper preview to show it before you click to enlarge it. I go to my account I click to see my wallpaper. It wouldn't open to them. I found out the only way I see other persons wallpaper is when I click to have it enlarge. So I don't know what could have happened. I get e-mail from people commenting on my wallpaper. So is it just happening to me. can it be fixed. Is it from having the wallpaper deleted. Could they have pressed the wrong button. Please Help mpkc57love

Hello.... That's really odd! It does sound like something was changed when that wallpaper was removed. I will pass this on to a DN technician for help. We will contact you on your page thru Private Message. If anyone else has any clue..please post here!

How about asking Fireangls4. If she remembers the steps she took removing the wallpaper that day, and not have her tell you well you do this and this and this to remove a wallpaper. But how she did it that day and time.

My deleting the wallpaper you wanted removed from your uploads has nothing to do with what went wrong after. Deleting a wallpaper happens many many times a day. The wallpaper you wanted removed was in your uploads. I removed it, and to be nice, because members are able to remove their own uploads, I thought I would let you know step by step how to remove your own uploads. Mimibunny does know how to remove a wallpaper and does know what steps I took.

When we first spoke about your problem, and you said you had someone help you with removing a wallpaper that was the wrong size, I thought you meant someone..as in a friend or neighbor. Things can easily be changed when someone not familiar with your computer comes in and tries to help. This sounded like a resolution problem to me at that point. Now, after reading your last post, I understand that you meant Fireangls4 deleted it. There is nothing that she could have done to change anything in/on your computer. It's a simple system, and the uploader (yourself) usually does it, and she was just helping you. What we do here from DN would not cause problems for you.
I'm now wondering if you have a slow-loading problem. If it isn't that the picture is so large that it's off the screen...but you are saying it doesn't show up when you click on it, but all the other info does? Is this correct? Are you on dial-up? How is your speed in loading other sites with images? I haven't heard back from a tech about this yet, but I will continue to try to help... Regardless, I want you to know that nothing could have been done to cause this from our end. It must be within your computer or your connection.

if you can not see any wallpapers from the DesktopNexus web site...
does the rest of the internet work as far as viewing pictures/wallpapers?

all newer web browsers have an option to: "block images from......." with "..." being any website. so you could have accidentally blocked images from desktop nexus, which sounds like the title of your forum post: unable to see wallpaper whole site

if that is the case, this might help...

depending on which web browser you use,

check under preferences > content
and click the exceptions button to the right of "load images automatically"

or,

Tools>Options>Content>
To the right of load images automatically, you will see a button that says Exceptions.

Remove the site from there. you should then be able to view wallpapers again.

I went to tools and clicked on exceptions. it was being blocked. so now I can see the wallpaper, and the preview to the wallpaper. thank you

Mary...I'm so glad to hear that your problem is corrected. We need to thank Harmless for his response here in the Forum!!! He's helped members before, so we need to recruit him to work for DN!
