How to post pictures to someones profile

Hello I'm having trouble posting pictures to another profile or fan page. It won't let me copy and past how do you do it?
How do you find the URL of a picture?

It's easy...Just do this way...

First type this :- (img)(/img)

Then copy the "URL" by right clicking the image "View Image Info - Location"

And paste it between (img)(/img) the brackets...

( Use the Square Brackets for this ) [ ]

Your all done...

This refuses to work for me. I am unable to post pictures,tags,emoticons, or anything like that on anyone's profile page.
Why can't we just copy and paste a tag, or emoticon?

I have the same problem as Imn2...even if I paste the url address within the img brackets. I believe that the problem lies within the small icon called picture that I don't have. Why?
PLEASE ANSWER!

Help!!!! it doesn't work!!! i do (img)[url stuff](/img) and paste it in the link thing box above comment box... What am i doing wrong?

All I want to do is post a pic to my profile page. A simple upload from my comp. But can't seem to find the place to do so.
