Hi there,

very nice site!!!

I would like to use some walls as background for a music-plugin of a Linux-Videorecording-app called VDR.

Is there any problem if I share the backgrounds with others?

The VDR is a free software and I will earn no money with the backgrounds/pics!
See link for example of the music-plugin-skin in my next post.

Greets from Germany and

Thanks In Advance

@Tibraide:
Your link doesn't seem to be safe, Tibraide. I just got a Firefox fraud warning in a pop-up...

Hi tibraide...Glad you enjoy our site!
We need to refer you to Komodo, our owner, for your questions. We are cautious about copyrights and have a system in place to honor any reports, so I'm not sure we can relinquish control.. Wait for him to contact you. Thanks.

Oh, thanks. That's better. The link is safe now.

Actually DN isn't copyright holder of any WPs here as far as I know. It only protects its terms. So you will have to contact the actual original artist either way to ask for permission.

Yes, I'm sorry, but we can not sanction something like this, as we are not an authorized agent to the copyrights of the wallpapers uploaded to Desktop Nexus.

However, if you hand pick certain images you like, you can contact the members directly and inquire about the usage rights/licensing. If they created the work, or if it is public domain, they can grant you rights to use that single image.

Good luck!
