Well if you take a look at my wallpapers, I just find a High Resolution picture of a player in mind, and cut it out using Photoshop. To create abstract back drops you can just search for free photoshop brushes on google and find some good ones. Then i just combine everything, if you need any help on one specific thing, i would be glad to help within my power.

I personally use guides/tutorials (if you take a look at some of my walls). Only 3 of them are my self-made ones, but yea. In each wallpapers description, there's a link to a guide that I used.

Hope this helps a bit.

Well if you have no prior experience with making some desktops similar to the ones that can be found on this site, I would recommend first downloading Gimp (an amazing free alternative to Photoshop) if you don't have PS already.

There's a link to some wonderful tutorials to get you started:

http://creativenerds.co.uk/tutorials/50-design-tutorials-for-mastering-gimp/

If you have specific questions on how to do something, or just need some random tips, then feel free to message me. I'm not the absolute best (you can see my work on my page,) but I know my way around this kind of software.

Hope this helps,
Rain

I'd love to get Photoshop, but for now I'm just learning to use Google's Picasa 3. This morning I had an awesome paddle and totally drained my camera's battery, it was like a Natural Sculpture Paddle. Take a look, I uploaded a couple of those photos to see what develops.

Well, many members steal them from places like caedes.net. They do it to my images and my other caedes members too. Anyway, that's the easy way to do it.

The other way is to learn how to produce your own images based on the info you have been provided by other members above.

I will probably be banned for speaking the truth, but we are so tired of writing the establishment here and filling out DMCA forms everytime some member here steals our images from where we posted them. Can't they take responsibilty for doing something with these repeat offenders? Cindy (cynlee) caedes.net.

cynlee and all DN members
Please read my Comment post on cynlee's Profilepage!
Professional artists should not come here and accuse and harass members.
If their art is found here, they should simply ask the uploader to remove it
or file a legal DMCA violation request with the site. Please read my post to know how to do that. We state in our Upload Rules to use Public Domain images but sometimes art is found on the internet already cropped of any copyright symbol or signature, and the owner is not known. We appreciate our members finding art they appreciate and wanting to share it, but if permission is not given, it should not be uploaded. We respect the Copyright laws and remove art quickly when ownership is proven...BUT...we also expect respect from the artists.
