I am a Yankee fan and excited about the upcoming World Series. It won't be easy for either team, it's basically a flip of a coin type of situation.

Phillies in 6. IT should be one great world series, both teams are stacked with talent. I give the edge in hitting to the Phillies, and the edge in pitching to the Yankees. Should be a dandy.

Absolutely, but the Yankees have some power hitters too (Jeter, A-Rod, Teixeira, Damon...)

Texiera is a beast. A Rod is finally performing in the playoffs. Jeter and Damon are good hiters, and get on base. Phillies have hitting 1 through 9. Howard is a home run hitter, though strikes out alot. Chase Utley is one of the best hitters, and best 2nd baseman in the league. already 2 homers already tonight, Werth is a great hitter, Victorinio, Rollins, Abuanez, are good hitters and get on base.
I cant wait till Pedro starts game 2. Pedro back in New York, its gonna be great, I want to hear what the fans are going to say to him hahah. Pedro is solid. haha remember when he through down the bald guy from the yanks coaching staff lmao. Good stuff.

Oh well, Game one goes to the Phillies. The way Lee was pitching, not even an all-star caliber line-up could hit him.

@ Windows7 - Yes, it is an american sport. It's baseball. Depends which NY logo is on the hat. There are 2 NY teams, the Yankees and the Mets. If the hat is dark blue with a white NY logo, it's the Yankees. If the hat is blue with a orange NY logo, it's the Mets.

The Phillies played well today. You're right itachi377: with Cliff Lee pitching, no one could even touch the ball.

We'll see how Game 2 goes.
