While I'll always take the "book over movie" stance, they have done about as good a job on the movies as they could. All were brilliant so far. I couldn't believe they got "Number 12 Grimmauld Place" in The Order of the Phoenix movie, just as I had imagined it while reading the book.

Movies, books take too long and it's different from the movie.

Books are better in their own aspects. They provide you the whole plot. And you know the best part is how you fantasy the places in the book and its really fascinating wen you imagined it right. Movies provide you the whole synopsis and take you to the virtual world. Without the movies excitement never goes to par.

The books offers a lot more details that do not appear in the movies, the Movies are better 'cause you will enjoy the movies much more than you will enjoy the books this is my opinion...
