I am a girl, I play Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo: Custom Edition, Halo 3, and Halo: Reach. I have an Xbox 360, but no Live. I also have the Halo Encyclopeida, a book of all the need-to-know facts for Halo fanatics everywhere. Over 200 pages of nothing but Halo and everything in it. I believe girls can play Halo, some of them are even better players than guys.
