I would have to say my scariest growing up was "It" by Steven King.. You can't beat Tim Curry as creepy clown Pennywise.. It took me years to get over that one.. It wasn't until I started picturing Pennywise as Frankenfurter that I could actually watch the movie all the way through.

The second scariest was the original Excorsist, not the movie itself but just that white face that shows up for a split second in the movie. I couldn't sleep at night after watching that movie without seeing that face in my head.

Yes the exorcist is another one I won't let my girls watch that one
