I watched the original movie, as well as the two series. On the opening sequence of SAC, it shows a little girl that I assume to be the future major holding a doll. As shadows fall upon her, the doll breaks from being clutched too tight. Cut to the major grabbing for something, I assume the doll, meaning her lost innocence. If so, what happened to the girl? Maybe I was #stoned# and missed something. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

The little girl was the major when she had her child cyborg body. To me when they shoot to the grown major reaching for something, it's like she's showing she has control of her body b/c she said when she was younger and first became a cyborg she couldn't control her strength and broke her doll.
