how do we find out people or member who download our picture/wallpapers?

Hi...
There is no way to tell who wants a copy of your wallpaper...but I know it also shows a download when you click on Enlarge! We all 'Enlarge' frequently to see the wallpaper better! So...you might have a lot of interest with people viewing the paper without actually copying it for use as a wallpaper.
*Please remember, that we are not an Art Gallery. While we have many, many members who are talented and create their own work, we also have many who find their uploads on the internet and just want to share their interest.
*We also want to remind you to use sites from 'Public Domain' searches. Just because it's on Google or Bing doesn't mean that it's legal to use. We need to respect the Copyright Laws and not post wallpapers that are owned. READ the site and if it says for personal use only, you cannot use it on DN. If the artist is named or if there is a fee for the site, do not use that site. Obviously, any art that has a copyright symbol or a signature, is not to be used without permission.
*We also want to respect our members privacy, and do not want all their activity to be made public. Their votes and their viewing of wallpapers is private. Members should not be tracked down to be asked 'why' they looked at the image.
*If you receive downloads, just consider it as someone who also shared your interest or favor of that image. If they choose, they can leave a Comment about the wallpaper or to the uploader thru a Comment on their page or a personal PM.
*Please be respectful and considerate. We have members of different cultures from all over the world, and we don't always interpret comments as they were meant...

I'm a new member and came across this wonderful Web site just recently. Exquisite, just exquisite, and a most beautiful Web site to be sure. And you're right, there are numerous talented and very creative members out there, and thanks to those who have uploaded from the internet and just wanted to share. Just breathtaking!

I know that I don't upload photos. Someday, I may find the courage to try, but for now, I am content to just download those fantastic wallpapers for MY screen. People do a fantastic job of putting some great pieces of art work here for us to enjoy, be they photo's or real art, sublime or subjective, makes no difference. If you like it, and enjoy it, then it's been a success. So, just sit back, come in and browse, and pick what you like and enjoy the 'scenery'.

I have only ever uploaded my own photo's. I wouldn't dream of uploading anyone else's, but I am sure I have downloaded photo's that aren't the persons who uploaded them. I trust that these are in public domain & not illegal to use. I only put them on my pc as wallpaper anyway.

I am new to DN but not only do I enjoy this smokin great web site I really respect it too. The terms and conditions are excellent and obviously add to the quality of the site. And the spamlessness is precious. Yesterday I was banned from another Desktop website that is just about dead because it is so cluttered with spam. I made a comment on the site that a member who might know how to block this spam could maybe PLEASE help the site moderator to fix it? The moderator had already announced that he had no way to fix this problem so....? Why was it considered so offensive? But this (site) is a much better experience anyway. I have seen many wallpapers on this site that I have never seen before, anywhere, and found lots of green, gold and reds that I was looking for. Also I appreciate the ease of negotiating the site. It is very clear.
