Linux, as far as I know, has no present virus problem unlike the Windows OS. Pretty much all virus issues affect Windows which is very very popular among the masses--Linux is only used by a small percentage. As Linux is incompatible with any virus affecting Windows, it is unaffected--unless you use Wine-compatible downloads (Wine is used to utilize certain Windows programs on Linux).
