What software do yall use to make these drawings? They all look great and seem to have more detail than most of the other sites ive seen. I saw on the other post where someone was asking about a specific style? and was told to try http://www.apophysis.org/.

I am more interested in the more fixed designs if that makes sence. They look like a defined object and have a personal touch. Say like the windows or linux logo for example. Its defined and not so abstract if thats the right word.

Thanks.

I always considered photoshop more of a picture editing software than a "drawing" software. Is that not the case? Like you said though getting a copy may be the issue. Since the full on photoshop isnt cheap that may have to be a down the road option.

GIMP is the closest you'll get to Photoshop and it's 100% legally free:
http://www.gimp.org/
You can also use Photoshop brushes with it.
If you need any help with Apophysis, just leave me a note, all of my wallpapers were made with it.
Also, you can draw AND edit photos with Photoshop or GIMP. You can even paint a picture just like you were using real paint brushes.
YouTube is a great place for videos on how to use GIMP as well.
