I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY DESKTOP DISPLAY. EVER SINCE I DOWLOADED MY NEW IMAGE FOR MY DESKTOP MOST OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY SCREEN IS WHITE, WITH ONLY A LITTLE STRIP OF THE IMAGE ON THE LEFT SIDE. I HAVE WENT INTO CONTROL PANEL AND TRIED EVERYTHING AND WOULD SURE APPRECIATE ANY HELP RESOLVING THIS--I "LOVE" MY BEAUTIFUL DT IMAGES AND CAN'T SEE THEM!
Have you updated your graphics card drivers recently? Often times they are packaged with utilities that can correct an offset. Beyond that, have you made sure the image itself isn't miscropped? Do you have a link to the image you set as your background?
It sounds to me like you have your desktop set to tile and if the image is just a bit smaller then the window you can end up with getting a realy bad tile seeing very little of the wall paper depending on the size I would check that first if you right click on desktop and personalize click desktop background usually there is a radio button under the place you pick wall paper make sure its set to center or fit to screen depending on the image.
I usually perfer center unless it is really big which will often crop off the top or bottom of your image.
